Located between Illinois Route #83 on the west and Interstate #294 (Tri-State Tollway) on the east, Hinsdale is very easy to find. Ogden Avenue (Illinois Route #34) cuts through the northern boundary while the southern boundary is marked by 59th Street. The Burlington Northern Railroad has three stations in Hinsdale. In addition to the main downtown station, there is a West Hinsdale station, and the Highland station near the east side of town.
