The Nation's First Health Education Facility 4.5 million students visited the Center in its first 30 years. The Robert Crown Center for Health Education is an internationally renowned teaching facility in Hinsdale founded in 1974 to educate young people so that they can make healthy choices for their bodies-and for their lifetimes.
Each year, over 170,000 students, teachers and parents from Chicagoland and beyond come to the Center in Hinsdale for instruction on a wide range of health education topics. More than 2,500 schools depend on the Center each year to deliver high impact programs packed with up-to-the-minute information on health education topics. |

"Valeda," the center's talking anatomical mannequin has been educating students since its arrival in 1958 at the Hinsdale Health Museum, the predecessor to the Robert Crown Center. |
